Here is the Ordering Link to “VPSLite 20” in Amsterdam, and when you combine it with promo code LEBVPSLITE20 and annual payment, you can get that package for $59.88/year ($4.99/month). It comes with

  • 256MB guaranteed/1GB burstable memory
  • 20GB storage
  • 200GB/month data transfer

  1. Do they not offer monthly payments?

  2. ** One Time Discount: $24.00 USD, Not Recurring.

It seems they oversold their Amesterdam Node, as far my last check. I believe 1GB burstable is not work with the node. I hope some1 of their existing client will review that here.

** Recently their PayPal was suspended and blocked. They take paypal payment not as their company. I have found some broadband company name on that suspended paypal. And here they again come up with new paypal and inform that to their client :

“Some of you have old Paypal subscriptions running on your accounts for services that are already canceled or upgraded. Usually these payments end up as account credits on your account or some are rejected and refunded.

We have tried to identify customers whose accounts have invalid subscriptions and have canceled them in Paypal. If you receive a Paypal cancellation notice, please login to the client portal at http://clients.delimiter.us/ and then locate most recent unpaid invoice. On there you will be able to setup a fresh Paypal subscription.

I’d really think twice about prepaying like that. VPS hosts come and go. The domain was registered a little over a year ago. Not exactly a long-term business yet.

No mention of port speed either.

I would buy from them if they fixed their site problems and made their sales email work again.

Guess that seals the deal then. Problems with their site, sales email not working, but they want a year up front? Yeah, right… :)

  6. @Omio — yes you are right. It is just a once time discount rather than recurring. Sorry I did not check properly and this offer should not have been here.

Open a ticket and ask them to license it. If you have already opened a ticket, go to the same ticket and request an update.

The license should be picked up automatically after you install the cPanel image in SolusVM

  9. In Amsterdam we have two sites and 11 servers across the two sites. The guaranteed ram is not oversold and the burst ram is oversold at a 1.15:1 ratio. It is the lowest in the industry.

Customers can verify failed burst or guaranteed ram allocation by looking at the /proc/user_beancounters file, the last column shows any failed attempts.

  10. Hi,

We have been using Delimiter for over 9 months now and they are easily one of the best OVZ providers we have used. Servers are stable and fast, uptime is good and support has always been obliging whenever we have had a request (e.g to enable TAP/TUN, setup rDNS, etc). We currently have two VPS with them (one in Germany, the other in San Jose) – the linked website is on our VPS in Germany with them.

    Best Regards,
    Ben Thomas

Their dedicated IP cost is higher than any provider even not IPv6 at all. Today they just change your site IP to Russia, why? Downtime with previous node Amsterdam :-??

I used them about a year ago. They have almost no support. And they suspended me for “copyrighted materials” and they needed two weeks to unsuspend my account and then I deleted the content and they just suspended me agian for no reason. Also their paypal subscription was misconfigured they charged my account with 3×20$ in one month and they didn’t reply for my refund request. They are thieves, I know what they state on their website is amazing for 20$, but when you don’t want to be ripped of then look for a reputable provider.

They’re scammers mate, sorry to tell you.

Take a look around this site and webhostingtalk.

Delimiter, XVPS and Yomura are what you want to look into. They have a track record of doing this, they offer good deals, your VPS “breaks”, and support don’t answer emails to fix it. Or any emails at all. Although they find the time to contest your paypal disputes.

They’re scammers, they’re scum and the more people that know about them the better.

Then why does LEA still show their ads (Delimiter) on LEB????

        November 24, 2010 @ 1:20 pm | Reply
        • Gary:

I’m not sure how much control he has over the ads, but that’s a fair question. There are reports of Yomura-owned companies ripping people off all over the net.

For those who don’t know, Yomura Holdings went around buying up smaller/failing VPS providers. Each and every time customers have reported a real degradation in customer service and ticket response time, tickets not being answered, etc.

Your VPS goes down, you can’t start it via the control panel, and tickets go unanswered.

You eventually open a paypal dispute, but yomura reply to your ticket saying you’re basically an abusive customer who’s made good use of the service and support, and escalates the claim right away, making sure you can’t answer their accusations.

Paypal don’t do refunds for services, so you’re shit out of luck anyway, even if they hadn’t lied blatantly. They copy and paste the exact same reply to every dispute, btw.

So then you lose your VPS (not that it was working anyway) and the money, and they start invoicing you $25 for the attempted claim, and to this day I still get invoices from them. Even though they suspended my already not working service when I started the Paypal claim.

Given that this has happened to so many people, in exactly the same way, that they can’t respond to tickets but can respond to paypal claims with lies, it’s pretty obvious that they’re intentionally scamming people.

        • It’s done through an ad broker (BuySellAds in this case).

Yomura has already reduced from 4 ads to 1.

I placed an order with delimiter, paid in full, they didn’t progress the order. I raised a ticket asking for an ETA and they cancelled the order and kept the money. Absolute crooks! This is a scam.
