It seems you have access to 8 cores o_O and you can get more storage cheap (25GB x 1 USD).

About the network, I get like 1.3-1.5MB/s from http://www.newwebsite.com/100MB.zip
they tell everyone all vps on 100 Mbps, but the server speed really-really slow, never get more than 1 Mbps. Look at WHT thread they dont answer when people asking about their speed :)
I was previously on one of these months and months ago and i had the same issue. They claimed they had plenty of excess capacity and nothing was capped. Whatever.
In my case, more than high network speed, I’m interested in the processor speed, is the only thing I need for my services xD

Same issue, I had to ask for a refund as speeds where as low as 50KB when they posted that offer on WHT and they claimed it was 100mbps port, but others also noticed how poor it was, also I remember doing a benchmark and it was below average on compared to other 512mb tests that I had made.
Right now I did a test on there file and got 1.4MB-1.7MB(max out of 2MB). Maybe they have improved? Or maybe it’s temporary? :D Well good luck to anyone who is willing to give them a try. The offer is surely nice and I’m sure it will be better then some virpus (they are most lowest provider I have seen where people are reporting 20KB speeds even in the states).

How much time open
I had a box with newwebsite for a few months. The node was quite stable although I did have some intermittent network slowness. Overall not a bad deal if you need DirectAdmin w/ your VPS
I had a VPS with them for some months. Their prices are great for a Xen VPS with DirectAdmin. I had problems with the speed to Europe so I moved away. But in these month they were very stable.
bad support,, i’m asking via ticket and they close the ticket without leaving any answer (or reason)..

MaxMind called 2 times and successfully played the code and you never responded with the code number they played. I do not see how you can claim bad support when you were never a customer.
i opening ticket because i would like to make sure the country code is corrected.. should i fill the full number or not.. i’ve been registered to amazon AWS after changing the phone number without country code (they generated country id make my phone number definitely wrong).. maybe my phone format is wrong or something.. that’s why i’m asking you via ticket..

I got one of these servers. They set me up incredibly fast. They had my VPS setup and DirectAdmin and Softaculous installed in around an hour. The server has been great so far. Can’t say enough good things about them. And the datacenter they house the servers in is unmatched by any other. I highly recommend this deal.
Here is the honest truth: we have a bandwidth cap of 35mbps. But we do not come close to reaching that cap on a regular basis. This is the main switch that all the traffic flows through. We are considering buying more if needed. The 35mbps cap can easily change.

Just setup my first VPS box with newwebsite. I beefed up the 6.95 plan and doubled the memory. From payment to live account was about 7-8 hours. Speed has been good and no downtime. Tickets have been answered in reasonable time. I don’t think this is a 24/7 operation, but hey what do you expect for this kind of price. I am very happy with the Xen box and I got FREE DirectAdmin on top of it. I’ll let you know more when I have a few months on the account.
I don’t think advertising with 100Mbit while it’s really 35Mbit is a good thing.

That is why we do not do that, at least not to my knowledge. If you have seen where we do that please let me know so I can change it.
