FST Servers LLP, are a registered Limited Liability Partnership in Illinois, USA. They were established in mid-2009 as a small hosting company for a limited number of customers but it “quickly became apparent that there was a sizable market for low-cost, high-quality VPS hosting”. FST Servers have been featured on LowEndBox twice before in 2011. Most providers on here use SolusVM but FST have their own custom coded control panel. From the pictures on their documentation wiki, it doesn’t look half bad. 96MB did an in-depth review of their service back in June 2011.

FST Servers tells us that they should be IPv6 connected within a few months. As for payment, they accept all major credit cards and provide a 5 day money back guarantee. FST allow “reasonable” VPN/Tor usage, IRC may be allowed on request but Adult is strictly prohibited. You can view their Terms of Service here and their Acceptable Usage Policy here.

Network Information:

Servers are located at the Continuum Datacenter in Chicago, Illinois.

With the coupon is 4$/month until cancell or for some time?

About ports -> I want to have a private (personal) ssh (to bypass firewall) from south america. Is that okay?

    January 28, 2013 @ 8:51 pm | Reply
    • The coupon will make the price $4.00/month for the life of the VPS (until you cancel it).

Yes, the machine would be usable for SSH tunneling.

I signed up and this is a heck of a deal! I previously had a shared hosting account with Bluehost. The speed increase I have seen is up to 10X faster and its nice to have a static IP. Thanks for this post.
