LEA (LowEndAdmin) is the original founder of LowEndBox and the visionary who gave rise to an entire movement around minimalist, efficient hosting. In 2008, LEA launched LowEndBox with a simple but powerful idea: that it was possible to run meaningful applications, web servers, VPNs, mail servers, and more – on small, low-cost virtual machines with minimal resources.
At a time when most infrastructure discussions were dominated by high-end servers and enterprise platforms, LEA championed the opposite approach: lightweight Linux distros, self-managed servers, open source software, and thoughtful optimization. This philosophy gave birth to the term “Low End Box”, which would come to define a new genre of hosting tailored to developers, tinkerers, and budget-conscious users around the world.
Through LowEndBox and its companion forum, LowEndTalk, LEA built the foundation for what would become one of the most active and enduring communities in the hosting world, prioritizing knowledge-sharing, transparency, and accessibility.
After several years of nurturing the site and community, LEA stepped away from active involvement, passing the torch to a new generation of admins, contributors, and moderators. Today, LEA remains a respected figure in the LowEnd ecosystem, credited with launching a platform and philosophy that continues to influence thousands of infrastructure providers and users globally.
LowEndBox’s legacy, and its thriving community, is a direct result of LEA’s original vision.
Someone watch closely his website statistics. This was fast. ;)

That 35$/year offer was after i emailed you sorry about that LEA i didn’t expect to get featured on here that quickly, Figured you was still behind and needed some catching up to do :P (Thanks for the quick feature though!)
(PS: There is a typo in the main part, It should be Orlando not Atlanta.) Although we are looking into an Atlanta Location as we speak!
Enjoy the offer guy’s.
-Andrew
@Andrew, can you confirm the Dallas, TX is using Limestone DC as per LEB posting? Thank you :)
Correct Dallas is with Limestone (Databank Facility) and Orlando Is with HostDime.
If you guy’s want Test files just let me know.
(Also Dallas features GigE Uplinks as well as orlando)
Well you emailed me the offer quite a few days ago :)
Post fixed. Not sure why I wrote Atlanta. Because your website is now traceroute through Wiresix in Atlanta?
Yeah we moved our main site to a dedicated server at Colo@. We are now doing mirrors for OpenVZ so we decided it was better off to isolate our website rather than keeping it in a VPS environment.
Good job~ I will check the WHT post later~
Dallas,TX 256MB VPS $25/Year link.

Could you provide testfiles?
Go ahead Daniel, We can not toggle service specific to existing clients do note that those are very limited time and have a stock limit.

Hi Andrew,
Just wondering if you’d made any progress on those CPU/DISK/RAM graphs you were going to provide so that customers could see how ‘loaded’ their host system was?
Cheers
Hughesey
We have them on the site we just haven’t released them, Currently they are not very integrable with the new website so we are still working on it.
-Andrew
Any chance of getting a look at one of them? Even just a screenshot to see what kind of info we’ll be given?
Cheers
Hughesey
They are Munin Graphs, All the Munin Graphs will be shown For Example if your node is..VZ10
It would be
/webpage.html -> Click “VZ10” -> /graphsforVZ10.here
We are still working on getting the graphs “Integrated” with the site so it’s not just Graphs on a blank page, We might just do a separate subdomain for it we haven’t decided yet, EG: graphs.123systems.net
They are still a work in progress and have been for a few months (On/Off), If you want to submit any Features/Ideas to the project or something you would like to see just drop me an email at andrewm[at]123systems.net
-Andrew
That’s bummer ;)
@Andrew,
any change for IPv6 at Orlando?
Been using 123systems vps for a few weeks and so far it has been rock solid. Great network speed as well. The one time I contacted support they answered quickly as well. Only thing Im missing is IPv6.
Well I got one of those Orlando VPSes.
When 123systems decided to move them to a different locations, they “so called” told the users about it. Wrong in the mail they send they simply told the user that there was an IP change, not a location change.
When I told thme about that they agreed on a refund (as I only took the VPS because it was in Orlando, didn’t need a VPS in the “new” location). On Feb 23 they promise the refund (will take 5 to 7 working days). As of today, nothing done by them. Not a nice way of doing business!
