the worst support I ever had!
    I ordered Win40 and paid 07/18/2012 05:38 PM.
didnt get any setup yet and added ticket for Win 2008 (it was not listed for the order) and get reply that its only Win 2003! Why the offer for Win 2008?? If you’re short with licenses is it hard to update promotion?

Submit ticket for refund and they asked who will pay fees!!

Why such scammers are listed on LEB? I used direct link and wanted to order VPS(only with Win 2008) with but already passed more than 30h I didnt get setup and any kind of support.

I guess you are already order with 2003R2 not 2008, i don’t know why complain now as you order to 2003 and accept this?!! if you really need 2008 then why order from first place?

PS: Your vps get delay setup due request 2008 and the ticket not resolved Yet, if you are looking to setup with 2003 then please update the ticket and your vps should be online within 15 min.

No one purchase from UP2VPS. One of my VPS went down that belongs to my Reseller account. They can’t fix the init nor will the give me a backup.

In fact, they stopped answering my tickets and are just closing them ever since I cancelled about 95% of my services with them. That’s not fair as I still have an active service with them.

They promised me a backup too. It’s been 14 days, 2 weeks and no response.

I will be posting PDF copies of the tickets soon. This is a fraud company, don’t purchase ANYTHING from them. Their support is awful and they are holding data hostage. I have lost A LOT of clients because of them. Never again will I take services from them.

Not all services, check your logs lol. The small amount invoices are for additional IPs I DONT need anymore. The bottom two $70 ones are for Windows reseller which I cancelled. The $51 and $65 are for TWO reseller upgrades. That makes 12GB worth of RAM. I had 18GB of RAM allocated to me. I have an extra 6GB with you STILL LEFT OVER. Check the darn logs, see for yourself. I cancelled TWO 6GB resellers, not three.

And why the f*** would you not answer this on my ticket. I COULD HAVE PAID YOU $50 FOR A DAMN BACKUP ANYWAYS. THAT’S HOW IMPORTANT IT IS. I HAVE WAITED FOR OVER 2 WEEKS. IT IS ONLY HERE YOU POST BECAUSE WHAT? IT’S RUINING YOUR PUBLIC IMAGE?

I don’t care about your horrendous service anymore, I just don’t care. I want my data, and will pay $50 for it, which is pretty much equivalent to a reseller service. Invoice me and send me the backup. But hey, if you only DID READ my tickets, you would see I already proposed to pay for a backup.

NO ONE ORDER FROM THEM. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE.

After 12 days of ignoring my replies, and over 2 weeks of an active ticket they finally replied to me via ticketing since I posted here.

        —————————————–

        Hello,

No we don’t need your money anymore, leaving the services overdue for more than 1 week then request cancellation and now request backup, using public to push on us, the services has been cancelled.

        Good luck with new provider.

        Thanks You

        —————————————–

This is really really saddening, that backup was for many many websites the VPS hosted.. Now what am I going to do? I still have a 6GB active with them, as I only cancelled 12GB worth of services.. I don’t care about the ignorance or anything, I just care about the backup..

        July 27, 2012 @ 10:42 am | Reply
        • $50 doesn’t cover the Resources were assigned to you which could have been assigned to someone else or our support.
If we calculated your rest of services will be ended from long time ago.
You are overdue more than week without paid or cancellation note.

        • Aaron:

But I still do have 6GB of service active with you right now.. It’s not like I cancelled it all.

Secondly, this backup is very very important. You as a host should know how important data can be. It’s for many many websites and without it my client will have lost many websites he hosted. Websites that have accumulated so much data can’t just restart over night. It’s been almost a month and I really need this.

You replied on the ticket that you don’t want to waste your time giving the backup. So then be it, at least unsuspend it so I can make the backup. You are just holding it hostage. Unsuspend it if you want to be fair. Don’t tell me what’s fair as I still have 6GB of service active with you. I paid for that 6GB server to still be active. Am I not entitled to it anymore? People often cancel late all the time, but I still have an active service.

Listen, I don’t really care about this whole situation as it’s taken a month, a whole month to actually get you guys talking again. I’m sorry, what more do you want from me? If you were all about fair, you’d still let me use the resources allocated to me as they are still active. Unsuspend the VPS as you only have it suspended to hold it hostage.

Just please, as a final request I just want that last backup. So give me access and I will make the backup as you don’t want to waste your time doing so. That backup is more important than my time and your time. It’s already 1 month overdue.

        Two things

        1. If you don’t need a service, just cancel. Services cannot rot and just disappear from your account along with pending invoices

        2. If you have not taken offsite backups then don’t start a public protest against a host. As they say DONT KEEP ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET

        July 27, 2012 @ 12:09 pm | Reply
        • Aaron:

I did cancel. In fact, before you comment you need to know the whole situation. They promised me a backup knowing I cancelled my services. And also, I still do have service active with them for this month that I DID pay for. The other two services were cancelled and so were the invoices.

Secondly, if they had just mentioned that I could have just paid the darn invoices for the backup. It was their lack of response for 2 weeks that is unacceptable. Why ignore my tickets, just say that I need to pay the invoices that were cancelled.

Thirdly, I agreed to pay them $50 instead of pro rated payment. So for the two services for the week extra that I didn’t pay, I can cover that right now easily. But they want $120 ? That’s even above what they charge me for both of the services combined. And they want me to admit that it was my fault here on LEB as part of the deal? I can pay $50 which is far more than the $27 prorated.

I didn’t make offsite backups cause I can’t. Their reseller panel doesn’t have that option and if a client changes their root password I can’t access it without changing it back.

This whole ordeal just hasn’t been managed by them efficiently. If it had been, I would have just paid the two invoices. This data is more important than the money.

The services is running for more than 10 days without paid, it fair to get $100 Resources were assigned to you which could have been assigned to someone else and make more profit if we selling it piece by piece.
You are owned to us list of invoice which more than $100 we are be honest with you and down it to $100.

The other IPs are not a huge hit for resources.. So don’t even say that. IPs are added removed all the time..

As per the other resources, I’m asking to have it prorated then for 10 day. You assigned those resources 10 days after I couldn’t pay. Simple enough. I had it for 10 days extra. So if being fair, I should pay the prorated amount. I didn’t have the resources allocated for the entire month.

Is asking prorated for 10 days not being fair?

He is right; AWS do not throttle CPU as do a lot of other high end vps providers. I have some applications that use High CPU and I want to run on a cluster (say 4-5 servers) and not one “cheap” vps provider that i’ve used yet will allow me to run my high load DB/Application. (im talking 90-100% CPU Utilisation 85-90% of the time) I’ve had to resort to the cloud as they do not throttle CPU usage which is a shame; If i could use a decent cheap VPS provider without CPU throttling i would not be using cloud — it cost more…

        • Because you aren’t paying for the cores :)

I’m sure if you find a provider that offers dedicated cores it wouldn’t be a problem.

Granted I only know of a single VPS provider that does (webhats or something like that), but there is a lot of questioning going on about just how dedicated that single core is. Unixbenches were returning a score of like 100 when it should have been at least in the 400 – 600 bracket.

I’ve had this VPS for a while now; was planning on cancelling a W2003 server with a different provider I have (tiny and slow, but stable for about a year) but figured $7 a month is negligible for now.

To my shock, got an abuse complaint claiming that I was sending around 2Gbps for 3 hours and my service has been suspended.

I’ve been running on VPSs for about 2 years now, so I make a point to monitor/graph all my VPSs from provisioning time. I submitted my graphs showing moderate usage (and no sign of the DDoS), but kept getting graphs from their VPS host which make no sense statistics wise. Also I cannot correlate any high network usage periods (mine, using SNMP show max 20Mbit/s usage; theirs claim 2.5Gbit/s over a 100Mbit/s connection).

I cannot recommend this company, as I feel their practices are underhanded. Claiming abuse without providing usable evidence of this is unacceptable.

For their reference, abuse ticket #726067 refers.

Reading all the comments here I realise I was a shade lucky to have been online earlier this month when a WIN40 slot came available at their German site. So far so good. Everything worked first time and the server runs way faster than the raidlogic vps I switched over from. Only minor hassle I’ve had was that their signup page wouldn’t recognise the July LEB offer, but that got sorted within a few hours of a message to the helpdesk guy who has been really courteous. Will provide a follow-up report in a few months. Hoping that what I’ve experienced so far continues.

Not sure what they’re trying to say as their English is horribly broken. But yeah, dead pool meat it seems. I guess that’s what happens when you use a budget dedicated server provider (Hetzner). I mean half of my friends on the Virgin Media ISP couldn’t even complete a full route to the VPS so it was no use anyway.

Oujia, I seriously 100% recommend you do not go with these guys.

They cancelled my server and many others for no reason (I used barely any bandwith…), they 100% refuse to refund me, they are a joke of a company, seriously save yourself the hassle and pay a little extra elsewhere. You will regret going with these.

Can you see a pattern here? these guys did the same to my vps, they cancelled it after less than 48 hours. Their business is taking money for a vps then providing no more than a few days of service, cancel without warning and expect you don’t ask for a refund. If you do, they NEVER refund the whole amount paid, just a few bucks for less than 2-3 days of service, and I know others have noticed this too/had same experience. Scammer(s) all the way (there’s no “Ralph”, btw, the guy’s NOT german).

I’ll post it where it hurts your reputation, as you’re protecting these crooks most probably for a financial gain. You posted about them, you should publish the feedback so no one else falls for their scams.

Secondly the root password I chose didn’t work and when I made a support ticket about it they told me the server had not been setup? Then how could I connect if it wasn’t setup? Along with all these other issues they have also sent me 0 email up to date not even a reciept. I wont be wasting my money again

I brought the win40 service with up2VPS last Thursday and my server was ready in just over a day, not bad.

There is however quite a problem with their customer support. I’ve opened two tickets as using the details provided I could not log into my VPS. So far (3 and a half days) I’ve not heard anything. So in total its nearly 5 days and I still don’t have a usable VPS.

The price is good, and if my problems get fixed then the value should be OK. But, if you require good customer service and would like issued fixed timely I would beware.

  94. I was Gatvol with service from up2vps I had an automated payment with 2checkout then i cancelled some of my vps due to lots of suspensions and unavailabilty. sometimes they just ssuspend a vps without even giving you a reason. When you contact them by ticket they take day or weeks to respond. Sometimes they just close your ticket without responding. They continued charging me for cancelled services for 4 months and now thery wont refund me. They also transferred my vps to Letbox and continued charging additional ips for the vps that they transferred. When i discovered that months down the line and asked for credit back into my account, they told me they dont refund. These guys are fraudsters.

I’m getting very desperate … my VPS is not working properly for 24 hours now, this morning i got access to it via root and decided to reboot when none of the services would restart (bad decission on my part, i should have backed it up.), now it won’t come up, i’m thinking they have some kind of hardware issue.

When I try to login via Client Login on their site i get this error

    Permissions Error
The templates compiling directory ‘/home/vps/public_html/my/templates_c/’ must be writeable (CHMOD 777) before you can continue.
If the path shown is incorrect, you can update it in the configuration.php file.

Their site doesn’t work at all the only page that works is the front page. I tried calling them but i can’t seem to find their phone number, i’ve called their suppliers in hopes they can give me their phone number but no luck, i can’t find any email to get Ralph other than abuse@up2vps.com from which didn’t get any reply.

What can i do? i’d love to get my data from the server then i can wait for them to fix the issue, but i have client which need their websites up and i forgot to back some of them up

    Any help is welcome
    Thank you

Some of their nodes are offline 2 weeks already. It’s incredible that someone has the guts to host something serious (clients) with Up2VPS. If you have backups don’t bother too much with them (they won’t bother to help you either) just move away and if you don’t… you’re pretty much screwed up. Up2VPS has done long time ago. Those few nodes left are on auto-pilot mode.

And btw. “Ralph” is invented the same as most other Up2VPS names. He doesn’t exist. It’s just one of few identities of a guy once know as Daniel Cordero Gonzalez.
