Since there’s no burstable memory here, it probably won’t be as useful as other yearly 128MB plans from other providers. You can use either PayPal or Google Checkout. Not registered for “GST” according to ABN lookup so could be a small operation, which seems to be inconsistent with Shaun’s claim here.

They have a long list of AUP so make sure you agree with them before you sign up.

n00b providers Monday! Here are some new low end providers that I’ve spotted over the week, but be warned — some of them might be the next SoftLayer (hmm, what’s the probability of this?), but many might fail and fall into the dead pool in the not so distant future. So evaluate, and be careful what you are about to purchase.

Here is the WHT offer. ThriftyVPS claimed to be “a new company of hard working individuals looking to break the hosting mold”. They have both OpenVZ and Xen VPS hosting plans, and both of them have packages starting below $7/month. “Xen powered vps 1″ is $6.25/month that comes with

Seems to have quite a few problems before. Just pick any previous offer posts and you’ll see them filled with generally negative comments. I might have been lucky, and had no problem with their Xen VPS when the plans first came out last November (only used for 2 months though).

They claim to have good connectivity to Asia Pacific. That could be a good thing, but could be the bane as well (with lots of customers across the Pacific taking over the bandwidth).
