You can google “Joe’s Datacenter” and read all the reviews, although I think the chance of these guys going to the dead pool would be a lot smaller than any other provider which I have listed over the last week simply due to its size.

As the name has suggested, these OpenVZ/KVM plans are “tiny” and if you need more resource, you need to upgrade to plans at RAM Host.

As of GetMyVPS, Stewart first started it a year ago, and pulled out on the same day the offer was posted. He relaunched it in June with little fanfare — actually no comment at all regarding his service. It’s based in Australia, part of AlfaHostsGroup, and could very well be just an after-class project of a few high school students..

They might not be in dead pool in the near future, but performance might be mediocre. I can’t back that up myself though, as last time I’ve been their customer is over a year ago.

Another Australia-based provider, GetMyVPS, also uses them for their Xen HVM VPS. Yes, the “Adelaide” in AdelaideHOST refers to this Australian city where Josh is based in. Domain was created in April 2011. Prior to that, according to posts against his account on WHT, Josh used to run “ceaserhosting.com” back in 2009, which has since “ceased”. Let’s hope AdelaideHOST would stick around for a bit longer.

Ashley from boxSRV, a division of AdvancedSpace, emailed me about their new low end VPS offerings. Cost on their website is shown in USD however when you actually click on [Order], the currency becomes GBP which is actually a bit dearer than the USD (as of today’s exchange). AlfaHosts have been around since October 2007. You’ll also catch Stewart at TechGeek Australia podcast. Yup, a high school student from his LinkedIn profile, but looks like someone with good experience.

Nix Communications have been around since 2008, been featured here since mid-2010, and Martin has been pretty quick in support from what I can see. Two issues were raised before — non-redundant NS and lack of SSL on web interface. I saw that Martin has managed to fix both — at least access to WHMCS is now protected (not too sure about SolusVM).
