Shaun from ItsJustHosting.com emailed me 4 days ago asking whether their $6.99 128MB OpenVZ VPS deal can be featured on LowEndBox. I said, well, it has already been featured before and I don’t see how that ads on WHT is of any different. So I guess they are now coming up a different plan. Instead of $6.99/month, their new low end WHT special is now just $5.99/month. But the spec does get significantly reduced for 1 buck less.

Last time the DC was in Dallas but their website was hosted in Phoenix. This time the VPS page says the location is now Los Angeles CA, whereas their website is now hosted with WiredTree in Chicago… Anyway. For $1 more you will get a VPS from the same vendor that’s much more usable.

Servers are in state of the art data center located in Dallas, Texas, USA — not sure which one though, as their main website is hosted in Phoenix. They also appear to use desktop-grade servers (Core 2 Duo) athlough they don’t necessarily mean bad things in this end of market. Other features such as 100mbps connections, DDoS protected network and fully managed solutions.

Interestingly from their terms of services, you are not allowed to host sexually explicit and porn sites. I guess it would be a no for those who wished to host that kind of websites, but might be a plus if you do not wish to have your IP range blocked by corporate filtering software :)
