VPSEU – £3.75 Xen/OpenVZ VPS with 256MB in Germany

Tags: , , , Date/Time: March 10, 2010 @ 4:18 am

VPSEU Via this WHT offer. VPSEU is an UK company that has its domain registered in December 2009 (with privacy protection, argh!) and has its servers in Frankfurt Germany (which I guess where “EU” in its domain name came from). Currently there is a 50% off recurring discount at the moment with coupon code MARCHPRO50. That brings its “Basic” package down to £3.75/month (USD $5.62).

  • 256MB memory + 768MB burstable memory (for OpenVZ)
  • 15GB storage
  • 100GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ or Xen + SolusVM

Good that Xen or OpenVZ of the same spec are at the same price.

  1. Some links are missing (http://www.vpseu.com/dedicated.php for example), the “online support” link seems to be inactive.

These aren’t so good signs :(

The pages are littered with poor spelling and grammar. I wouldn’t trust a provider that can’t operate a spellchecker to operate servers.

    That promotion code doesn’t work
    Use “SPRING2010″ for 50% off

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
