I love when I accidently hit enter :)

This is due to our first year* in business when we had 3 customers who ran IRC hosting that caused DDOS attacks on our network at various times causing issues for all of our clients. We hate it that this ruins it for all IRC hosters because we know not all will attract attacks but we do not want to risk downtime for our other customers because of it.

Yes, but you didn’t include the rest where they discuss IRC:

“IRC, Torrent, Proxy, and Adult Hosting – Adult and Proxy hosting are allowed on our hosting. We ask to be careful what content is offered as illegal content or abuse reports will lead to termination of your account. IRC and Copyrighted Torrents (warez) are not to be hosted on our servers. Any IRC related service or illegal files will lead to termination of your account.”

So “Any IRC related service … will lead to termination of your account”.

Nice to see a decent amount of disk storage (24GB) instead of the usual 5 or 10gb.
Pity they don’t allow any IRC.
