Saw some very low end virtual servers from CS Squad Hosting. Here is their Mini VPS page with a few strictly unmanaged virtual server hosting plans.
OpenVZ Mini
- 32MB guaranteed/128MB burstable memory
- 5GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer
- $3/month
Xen Mini
- 32MB memory/128MB swap
- 5GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer
- $4/month
FreeBSD Jail Mini
- 1GB Host memory
- 5GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer
- $5/month
No control panel. They will also charge you $20 if you need to have VPS rebuilt. Their website is hosted with DMEHosting’s reseller account. However from their WHT ads for dedicated servers, they seem to be using Primary.net in St. Louis for their dedicated servers.
None of these plans are available for purchase.

Yeah, to avoid too much users who simply play and messed up their Mini VPSes and request to rebuild them every day.
We had been gone tru a lot of headaches for this reason. These Mini plans is to target for those clients who really know what they are doing when they ssh in to the VPS.
Nice to see someone offering FreeBSD images. Gotta admit I came up when mainframes were still around and that’s what I’m used to.
Their regularly priced VPSes are available with their 512meg within the LEB price range I believe:

@cs squad The price just sort of stood out at me as being outrageous. I understand where you are coming from, however, it would be nice to know I can rebuild if needed (and I certainly know what I am doing). Why not limit rebuilds to every certain amount of days (30-60?)?

Cool! I truly think you have really good deals and a few interest me. However, when I weigh cost/benefit and factor in ever needing to rebuild (we all make mistakes…I am sure we have all nuked a server or two) I am drawn toward paying a few extra bucks per month to a provider who will let me rebuild if the need arises.
Keep on keepin’ on…and let us know if you decide to roll at least minimal rebuilds into your plans!

20 bucks isn’t bad for a reinstall actually if you have to have a tech do it. I forget what I have to pay for my datacenter to do it on one of my servers but I know it’s a lot more than 20 bucks. (I go in and do it myself.)
I have to ask, are there any benefits to buying plans from resellers like CS-Squad instead of their upstream (in this case Burst.net)? Its ridiculous that they actually charge more than what Burst is offering when I glanced through their regular VPS pricing.
@drmike why would you need a tech to do that? Rebuilding a vps is like click click done or executing 1 shell command. It’s not like installing a physical server.

specs looks like Burst VPS doesn’t mean it is Burst VPS!
Example, Acer is selling a desktop with the spec Intel Core2Duo with 1GB RAM & 160GB Hard Disk,
HP also do sell a desktop with the spec Intel Core2Duo with 1GB RAM & 160GB Hard Disk.
Does this mean HP is reselling Acer desktop?

Your entire VPS and Dedicated server lines are exact carbon copies of Burst.Net offerings. Even the options to configure the your boxes are exact (apart from the blown up prices). E.g the list of OS images.
Also the TOS section, another copy of Burst.Net’s TOS.

You could have at least changed that (or are you not allowed to under Burst.net reseller terms?), or setup SSL properly on your insecure ordering page.
Now I must apologize beforehand if I’m wrong and your 2 week old company coincidently stock exactly the same hardware lineup as Burst.Net. Please feel free to debunk my claims, say hooking up LEB with one of your Core i7 servers for a day or two to test for IP and the sort :)
